Cannabis sativa is a herbaceous flowering plant that is a member of the Cannabaceae botanical family. Hemp Essential oil has been cultivated throughout history for its industrial, medicinal, and spiritual uses.
Hemp essential oil has a strong, earthy and almost harsh aroma. It evolves into milder herbal middle notes, still earthy-green until the lower notes become earthy, peppery and faintly sweet, and is best used as part of a blend. It is a great oil to mix in your diffuser to help you relax after a long day.
*There is no THC or CBD (cannabidiol) in the essential oil as these two components are too heavy to cross over during the steam distillation process.
*Hemp Essential Oil is also very different than Hemp Seed Oil, with is a carrier oil.
